Facts: Plaintiff, male age 46, is the granson-in-law of Defendant.  Plaintiff was repairing a back porch as a favor for Defendant when Defendant allegedly stood on some lumber which caused a wooden beam to come off its mooring and fall onto Plaintiff.  Plaintiff brought suit for personal liability.  Deendant denied that he caused the beam to fall and claimed is was Plaintiff's fault.  Defendant is now deceased.

Damages Alleged: Herniated disc with allograft surgery requiring cadaveric bone, plate and screws to C 5-6 (no medical expenses or lost income were presented; Plaintiff was already on social security disability).
Demand before trial: No negotiations.
Offer before trial: No negotiations.
Verdict: For Defendant.
