Facts: Plaintiffs Matt and Michelle White are the parents of Mattie, age 6, and Connor, age 5.  Defendant is the grandfather of Mattie and Connor.  Defendant placed Mattie and Connor in the saddle on Defendant's horse and was leading the horse when it turned its hindquarters causing the children to fall off the horse.  All bills and injuries were stipulated to before trial; only liability and damages were tried.  The children made a complete recovery.

Damages Alleged:  (Mattie) Lacerated liver - operated; fractured rib and punctured lung ($17,000 medical expenses).  (Connor) Open fracture of the tibia and fibula - operated; and concussion ($22,000 medical expenses).  Lost income claims:  $5,000 for Matt White and $3,500 for Michelle White
